Spray tower, also known as spray tower, is an absorption tower with filler or tray and nozzle. The liquid enters from the top of the tower and is sprayed into a mist or raindrop shape through a nozzle; Gas enters from the lower part of the tower and comes into close contact with mist or raindrop like liquids for mass transfer, allowing soluble components in the gas to be absorbed. Simple structure, less prone to blockage, low resistance, and convenient operation and maintenance.
Equipment structure:
The spray tower adopts a tower body packing layer as a mass transfer equipment for gas-liquid two-phase contact elements. The packing support plate is set at the bottom of the packing tower, and the packing is arranged in a stacked manner on the support plate. The packing pressure plate is installed above the packing to prevent upward airflow from blowing out. The spray tower sprays liquid from the top of the tower, reaches the packing through the liquid distributor, and flows downwards along the surface of the packing. After the gas is distributed from the bottom of the tower, the liquid continuously flows back through the gaps in the packing layer. On the surface of the packing, the gas-liquid phases are in close contact for mass transfer. When liquid flows along the packing layer, there may sometimes be wall flow. The wall flow effect leads to uneven distribution of gas-liquid phases in the packing layer, resulting in a decrease in mass transfer efficiency. Therefore, the packing layer in the spray tower is divided into two parts, and a redistribution device is set in the middle. After redistribution, it is sprayed on the lower packing.
Working principle:
The spray tower introduces acid mist exhaust gas into the purification tower through air ducts. After passing through the packing layer, the exhaust gas and sodium hydride absorbent come into full contact with the gas and liquid to absorb and neutralize the gas. After purification, the acid mist exhaust gas is dehydrated and removed by the smoke and dust plate, and then discharged into the atmosphere by the fan. After pressurizing with a water pump at the bottom of the tower, the absorbent is sprayed down at the top of the tower and then recycled to the bottom of the tower. The purified acid mist exhaust gas meets the national emission standards.
